Automated Twin-Cell HTHP Consistometer

Model: PEP-8040DA

PEP-8040DA Dual-cell HTHP consistometer is specially designed to measure the thickening time of oil well cement under simulated down-hole pressures and temperatures. The Model PEP-8040DA offers a computerized Data Acquisition and Control system, automatic temperature and pressure control, and a variable speed motor all standard in one easy-to-use unit. The PEP-8040DA can be used to prepare slurries to measure free water content, viscosity, fluid loss, rheological, and various other properties. A digital recorder for programming temperature control and display of current test results in real-time.

The Model PEP-8040DA can simultaneously perform two independent cement thickening behavior tests under a variety of downhole well conditions, used in laboratories involved with oil well cement research programs, research and testing of cement additives, cement manufacturers’ quality assurance programs, and the research and field labs of well servicing companies.

PEP-5270 data acquisition system includes:

a. Computer display

b. Processing software (life-long free upgrade)

c. Input/output cables

d. Data storage and print

Signals from pressure, temperature, and consistency sensors can be acquired through the PEP-5270 data acquisition system and then processed after arithmetic processing, realizing displays of values of time, consistency, pressure, and temperature.

Curves can be displayed and data can be stored. RS-232 interface is communicated with the PC.

Alarming for pressure, temperature, and consistency is provided.
