ACID CORROSION INHIBITOR- CI-AS-400 is an Effective organic-based and cationic acid corrosion inhibitor designed for use in hydrochloric acid-based stimulation fluids. Economically protects low alloy steel when exposed to 15% or 28% hydrochloric acid and hydrochloric/hydrofluoric acid up to 200°F (93 °C ), with the use of CI-AS-400 can provide protection up to 280 °F and with the use of CI-AS-400 provides up to 350°F. This product has good solubility in acid and water solutions and is designed to inhibit corrosion mixtures. It effectively protects N-80, J-55, L80, and many other steel alloys against acid attack.

This corrosion Inhibitor shows excellent solubility in HCL-based systems designed for down-hole applications.
Acid Strengths
Effective in all strengths of hydrochloric acid and mixtures of hydrochloric-hydrofluoric acids and is effective for all carbon steel alloys used in wellbore tubular. This product also provides inhibition to other alloys however higher concentrations of this inhibitor will be required.
Metal Protection
Acid systems inhibited with appropriate concentrations dramatically slow corrosion rates on most common oilfield tubular, including steel alloy, coiled tubing, and chrome alloys.

Packing
CI-AS-400 is packed in 220 liters. standard polyethylene drum.
Storage conditions
CI-AS-400 should be stored in tightly closed containers indoors and maintained at normal temperature. In these conditions, the product is stable for 2 years from its production date.
